Hey there, and welcome to my long-overdue blog about all things motorsport. Here I will rant and rave about the on and off the track action surrounding all forms of racing, including NASCAR, American Open Wheel racing, F1, Sprint car action and anything else that tickles my fancy. I will probably piss someone off and I encourage readers to write back and discuss matters with me and set me straight…

The short version is that I am a long-time fan of all types of motorsports, but I must confess that NASCAR has been my main squeeze since childhood. You will probably find me to be a pretty unconventional racing fan. I’m not the type to tow the company line and I have been known to stir things up with my “radical” thinking. That aside, I’m for the most part a fan of all of the drivers and respectful of their fans…
So, that’s the greeting ya’ll. I’ll be endeavouring to post some archive material, mostly letters that I have written and had nationally published by various motorsports writers. I’ll also share with you some of my old rants and even a letter or two I sent to NASCAR HQ that were probably ignored. All in all, this should be a blast… Pull those belts tight!
