Kindly remember the victims of 911 and their families. Graciously look upon those gathered here for this NASCAR Nextel Cup race. Protect the drivers who will race this day. Keep them and their loved ones united in your love. We pray this through Christ, our Lord.”

Note: There was a power outage at the track and the spectators didn’t hear this invocation. Actually, the crowd was quite rowdy during its delivery. which was all caught on the live TV broadcast.. Most amusing.
